When You Pray… Believe (2)!
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text:
“And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believed that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].” Mark 11v22-24 (AMP)
God is faithful, and He rewards those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11v6). He loves His children, and He gives them good things (Matthew 7v11). Are there certain things you desire e.g. a deeper, closer and more intimate walk with God? More anointing, power, more of His Spirit? A good job, a wonderful marriage, provisions … What is it that you desire? Have you taken it to the Lord in prayer? And even if it is tarrying, keep on praying, don’t give up (see Luke 18v1). Be confident of God’s love for you and that "The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are attentive to your cry” (Psalm 34v15). However, remember that the Bible says “Take delight in the LORD, and He will give you your heart’s desires” (Psalm 37v4). Are you delighting yourself in God, or are you a “give me, give me” child, who when they get what they want, they forget that God exists?
Perhaps you do not even know the Lord today, you do not know Him as your Lord and Saviour. The Bible says:
“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Romans 10v9-10
You can say this prayer: Heavenly Father, I come to You today, confessing that I am a sinner. I am sorry for all that I have done and ask that You forgive me for all of my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Lord Jesus, I ask that You be Lord and Saviour over my life. I believe that You came to die for my sins, and that God raised You from the dead. Thank You Father for translating me out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Your dear Son. Thank You for sealing me with Your Holy Spirit of promise. Please keep me till the end in You, and may Your Name alone be glorified in my life, in Jesus name I pray, amen.
If you said this prayer today, know that you are now a child of God and that there is much jubilation in heaven because of you. Begin to attend a Bible-believing church, and keep the faith! Welcome into God’s family.
